Welcome!

Noisy Grain (the literal translation of “Szumne Ziarno”) is my personal project dedicated to writing and photographic work. Here you’ll find, among the other things:

In the spirit of the mischeviously sounding title, I’ve set myself some ambitious, somewhat contradictory goals: to demystify traditional photography and at the same time elevate the digital, bringing them onto equal ground. I believe that photography is a universal art of stopping time, and the technology used is simply a matter of preference. There is only one photography. More than that, photography is a way of telling the story.

I hope that the content gathered here will keep you around for a while, so it may spark some reflection on what’s worth cultivating within ourselves. Who knows — maybe I’ll even encourage one of you to explore your own passions and share them with others.

Enjoy, Sander
